    Still USED

A good think about a tradition portfolio is that it's easy to store things in and probably everyone used one before.
Anyone with different language background would find it convenient to use. All through out my primary and high school years, portfolios was extremely handy and still is. I remember every term we get a portfolio each to store all our work in, showing our achievements and class room involvement in projects and also individual evaluation of how well we did in class. In my primary years we were advice to take our portfolio home and show our parents our progress each month. By doing this it give them a clear idea what were learning and how well were doing.
It’s also a medium for discussion between our teachers and us just to see how well our individual goal is being accomplished.
Two of my brothers who are both in Primary still use portfolio to store such as home work and as well as notices and all. Probably different from back in the days but still very much used.
Anything can be stored in a portfolio folder e.g.
    · Art work
    · Photos
    · Individual goals
    · Achievement certificate
    You can use portfolio for…
    · For a job interview
    · Career plan
    · Apply for Scholarship
    · Construct resumes

This is just a few ideas and thoughts I wanted to share.
